The original American Psycho. I'm not sure why the entire tragic story of the Manson family murders and the subsequent media circus is a source of endless fascination for me. Perhaps because it encompasses many components of the American character: cultural clash, fanaticism, doomsday, racism, and radically alternative lifestyles. These recordings of interviews with Charles Manson taken from parole hearings and other sources need no introduction. There's a great website of photos taken during the Tate/LaBianca murder trial. They were all so young and defiant.
