Kristin Hersh
"Heaven"
I have tried to include as many troubadours as possible
(using the word liberally). Some of them are important to American culture,
some of them are important only to me. Kristin Hersh is my own personal
troubadour. Her uneven career, marked by mental illness, seems to follow
my own uneven life.
